The Devices EP is out today everywhere you listen to music.
It’s even in streaming in ones you’ve never even heard of—I’m looking at you, Deezer.

If you’d be kind enough to purchase a download, you can do that on iTunes or even better at bandcamp. If you’d like a physical CD copy, I’d be happy to mail you one. (Message me for details.)
This album was a lot of fun to make. I got to record it with friends old and new. However, for a minute there I was stalling and sitting on it. I thought I had to wait for the perfect moment to release it or for all the stars to align.
I’ve been there too many times before.
That happens to a lot of us—whatever our “thing” is. There’s something we want to share. Something we need to share. Something we have to share. But that little voice that author Steven Pressfield calls “Resistance” whispers in your ear all the excuses of why you can’t:
it’s not good enough.
it’s not perfect enough.
it’s not the right time.
wait.
forget.
you get 99% of the way there and then stop.
but then sometimes, somehow
to your own surprise, you manage to do a thing.
and then you do another thing.
and then another thing.
And then Resistance starts to quiet down (no, the voices never go completely silent—it’s more like crickets than cicadas).
But for now:
I did a thing.
Thanks for being part of it! -Kyle
